Eoin Morgan Dawid Malan lead England home in tall chase for 1-0 series lead
England overcame an almighty wobble to beat Pakistan in a pulsating final Twenty20 at Emirates. Chasing 196 – their highest successful chase in T20Is – England were cruising at 128-1 in the 13th over but they then lost four wickets for nine runs in 17 balls.
Eoin Morgan, who hit a timely 66 not out, and Dawid Malan, who made 54, steadied the ship, adding an unbroken 67 to secure a famous win with seven balls to spare.
