Cowboys Kicker Brandon Aubrey Sets NFL Record
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) —
Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey extended his NFL record for consecutive field goals made to 24 on Sunday, helping the Cowboys defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 26-17.
Aubrey, a rookie from Utah, made four field goals on Sunday, including two of 59-plus yards.
He is the first kicker in NFL history to make at least four field goals of 50-plus yards in a single game.
Aubrey has been a revelation for the Cowboys this season, replacing Brett Maher, who struggled in the playoffs last year.
With Aubrey's help, the Cowboys are now 3-0 and in first place in the NFC East.
